SUMMARY
Golden Owl Solutions is looking for a Ruby on Rails Intern who has a solid programming foundation and is eager to develop back-end engineering skills through real project experience.
In this role, you will support the engineering team in coding, implementing assigned tasks and learning Ruby/Ruby on Rails practices under the guidance of senior developers, mentors and team leaders.

Your Responsibilities
1. Learn & practice Ruby/Rails development fundamentals
- Work under the coaching of team leaders, mentors or senior developers to strengthen your back-end development foundation.
- Practice coding with clear, effective and quality-oriented outputs.
2. Implement assigned technical tasks
- Implement assigned tasks following quality guidelines, technical instructions and project timeline.
- Research and learn Ruby, Ruby on Rails, database and related tools based on project needs.
3. Support estimation, reporting & collaboration
- Estimate assigned tasks and report task progress when required.
- Cooperate with PC, QC, team lead and other engineers to complete internship tasks effectively.
4. Improve coding quality & working habits
- Apply feedback from mentors to improve code quality, problem-solving and project workflow understanding.
- Develop a habit of learning from real tasks, documentation and team review.

Requirements
- 4th-year students in Computer Science, IT or related major;
- Strong background knowledge of HTML, CSS, OOP, database and any back-end programming language;
- Knowledge about Ruby or Ruby on Rails is a plus;
- Knowledge about Git and SQL is a big plus;
- Good command of English is a plus;
- Personal laptop is required;
- Able to work full-time in 4-6 months during internship period (depending on performance);
- 15 months working after internship commitment.
